when i was a kid i remember hearing this track and it was as if something otherworldy had landed.  up until somewhere in the mid eighties, i’d no concept of music the same way i do now.  and while not the most obvious example of hip hop or rap in general, for me, this track showed me that there is loads more to music than rock and pop, and be even better than both.
