sometimes i wanna grab folk by the shoulders and shake ‘em and say a pop song is sometimes only a pop song.  there isn’t much more behind it but a dance track, a lullaby, a good moment of abandon and punk-like fuck yous…

…every now and then, kicks to my face, like, with those boots i used to love wearing all the time, a pop song reminds me of a story that doesn’t even belong to me, but reminds me of the first time i heard it and how it broke my heart hearing it.
